Here I present two options for picture book (even in the kiln) Herder Mexico is about to edit. Both follow the same design but the effects are different.
I prefer the second.
Editorial Herder Mexico: survived
Jan Schultz should be reflected in the account of the editors of race, beings for whose smell, which is neither more nor less than knowing your time but also to come, help to perpetuate the office of editor and wonder of printed Content. Every time we talked about the publishing business and the survival strategies of the sector, their eyes shine and points his nose. An editor is a bloodhound, a nose in person, an instinctive overall.
Over 30 years ago that Jan is part of the Spanish publishing sector, with average career in Europe and everything else in his beautiful and beloved Mexico.
But it is also a lover of the object, a cultivator and preserver of the object, perhaps one of the people most precious first editions in his library. Instead of buying bricks has been known to buy books and now cradles a treasure!
With Jan learned everything I know about the publishing business: to understand a book beyond its subject, to think a cover, to mark up a text. But I also I contributed to the construction of the editorial approach, because as architect modernizes edilicios environments and found overwhelming thinking what a publisher and later libraries. I can then say that in the course of the years we have built a solid team, learning and constant improvement of the work. In this relationship we have built editorial worlds both sides of the Atlantic.
Here we presented what we are doing from Barcelona to Mexico Herder: two years ago the virtual house , then the publisher, the bookstore and the books in their entirety: cover design and layout of the texts. survived is the continuation of this path.
