Asian Ethnology is a magazine that promotes academic research on the peoples and cultures of Asia. It began in 1942 in China under the name of Folklore Studies and is currently published twice a year by Nanzan University in Japan.
Its editors sought to "rejuvenate", changing the name to Asian Ethnology. In somosene modernize its image using intense colors and images related to Japanese folklore and created a logo and stripped clean, which took into account the weight of tradition.
